Xiahe County one-day tour Guide (Labrang Temple & Ganga secret)

8:30-13:00 Leave from Lanzhou city at 8:30 in the morning. Charge and eat in the midway service area, and arrive at Labrang Temple next to an inn or hotel.

14:00-16:30 Drive to Labrang Temple parking lot after makeup. About a few hundred meters away from accomentation area, it is recommended to walk through the narrow roadway, ideally barely pasiing.

You could rent Tibetan clothes at the gate of Labrang Temple to take photos, which is convenient. We went in at 2:30 to visit the Labrang Temple and came out at 4:30 to make the one-hour journey to the Ganja Mystery.

17:30-19:00 Check the Ganga Secret Province ticket strategy in advance: navigation "Stone secret" (if direct navigation for Ganga Secret area will charge 80RMB), see "Ganga secret area" after the scenic spot card to go straight to the right. The advantage is to save tickets, the disadvantage is that the lane is narrow,which makes the car slower.

Lanzhou To Labrang Temple To Sangke grassland To Langmu Temple

Lanzhou The capital of the Yellow River, a city where history and modernity blend

From Lanzhou, enjoy a bowl of hot beef noodle in the early morning, and about 3.5h to arrive, start a two-day and one-night tour of Gannan

Labrang temple 40RMB. It is suggested to go to after lunch. You could experience Tibetan clothing at your own expense  80-100r visit time of about 2h

Labrang Monastery, known as the "Tibetan learning institution in the world", is one of the six major monasteries of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism

Here you can smell the faint aroma of burning turpentine and see devout believers turning their sutras and bowing their heads

Mulberry grassland

Leave Labrang Temple, going ahead locates Xiahe endless mulberry grassland where you could spend money to feel the joy of horseback riding.

With enough time, you could take beautiful photos with a few friends and forget the hustle and bustle of the city for a while.

Starting from the grassland, we came to the "Gannan Shambhala" Langmu Temple that is located in the arms of the mountains

It is one of the important monasteries of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism.

The mural paintings in the temple show the precipitation of history.

There is a sky burial platform that is only open to tourists in Tibetan areas.

After a good day, we could check in the hotel to rest and wait for the next day.

Day2

Zakana To Lanzhou

Known as "fairyland on earth", Zakana definitely makes you trip worthwihile. There is a unique stone forest landform.

When the sky is clean and the air is fresh, Zakana is like a world out of the pigment plate; Zakana in the rainy season, shrouded in clouds, seems to be another world; On different weathers, you could feel the variuos charm of Zakana. Zagana is also a male peak and grassy beach, Tibetan village perfect combination of the place, surrounded by mountains, in the middle of a large grassy beach and crops, four villages and a temple dotted among them, high and low, scattered.

The last day, back to Lanzhou to end our happy trip!

Gannan local cuisine

Milk tea, fried dough sticks, Kaaba, hand-grabbed mutton and so on. The food here has distinct ethnic characteristics, and you could enjoy the distinctive Tibetan cuisine.

The temperature difference between day and night in Gannan region is large, and the ultraviolet rays are strong in summer. You may prepare with excess clothing, sunscreen spray, sunglasses and other sunscreen products, grassland mosquitoes, which mosquito killer is essential.
